7. Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your GasLite account at any time directly from within the mobile app. Account deletion is a permanent action that cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the GasLite app on your device
2. Navigate to the Profile tab
3. Tap on Settings
4. Select Delete Account
5. Follow the 3-step confirmation process:
   • Step 1: Review what will be deleted
   • Step 2: Understand the consequences
   • Step 3: Type "DELETE MY ACCOUNT" to confirm
6. Tap the final confirmation button to permanently delete your account

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Your profile and all personal information
• All gas price reports and contributions you've made
• Your favorite gas stations
• All achievements, points, and rewards
• Your referral history
• Any votes you've cast on price reports
• Your account credentials and login information

Alternative Options

Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:

• Sign Out: If you just need a break, you can sign out temporarily
• Disable Notifications: Adjust notification settings instead of deleting your account
• Contact Support: If you're experiencing issues, reach out to support@gaslite.app

8. Age Requirements

GasLite is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Users must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
